Freelance Art Director and Senior Designer – 2004 to Present

Wild Canada Salmon – Branded and created identity, website, collateral and packaging for the online launch of a distributorship aimed at selling wild Canadian salmon.

Bon Solé Pastry Line – Created packaging line redesign of five pastry products. Coordinated line made by two different bakers using three different printers in three different states attending press checks and initial press runs. Restaging the line was so successful that it created a twenty-five percent jump in sales. This product has a national presence and Bon Appetit is a competitor to Hostess.

ProMed Pharmaceutical – Leading pharmaceutical and neutraceutical provider for Europe and the Middle East. Project Manager and Senior Designer heading creative team in web development and packaging development for their major launch in overseas markets. Follow-up expansion of their product line as well as ad creation for trade magazine placement.

Gorilla Life – Brand launch in organic beverage market. Senior Designer heading creative team in identity and logo development, packaging and web development.

City of Los Angeles – Complete redesign of the city's Emergency Management website. The website acted as an educational tool for the citizens of Los Angeles in case of an emergency. Acted as a Web Producer and Senior Designer coordinating input and executing direction from senior city officials. Project launch ceremony conducted for the press with the Mayor in attendance.

Total Call International – Art direction and design of collateral and packaging for a major product launch of a prepaid cellular phone. Marketed in seven languages, this line had four packages, six brochures, trade show displays and four point of purchase displays. Project included all management of copy writers, translators and Asian typesetters.

Senior Designer, Freelance – GirlPROPS, New York, NY, 2003 to Present

GirlPROPS is a trendy costume jewelry retailer located in New York. Designed identity, website, retail shopping bags, collateral, in-store, storefront and automobile signage.

Senior Designer, Freelance – Guthy-Renker Inc., 2002 to Present

Guthy-Renker is a TV infomercial industry leader, distributing products for foreign and domestic consumption. Many of these products are now currently airing on domestic and international television. Listed are the brands and services performed:

X-Out – Designed packaging line for infomercial launch. This product an anti-acne product line marketed to the youth market, ie: Proactiv for teenagers.

Chaz Dean – Redesign of hair care packaging line for a major launch. This brand has two categories with six items in each category.

Sheer Cover – Design of domestic and foreign collateral, packaging and POP displays as well as all upsell products. This line has over twenty-five products with domestic and European distribution. Served as principal brand custodian.

Proactiv – Design of box packaging for several distribution points in Europe, Australia and Latin America.

Meaningful Beauty – Design and production of domestic and foreign collateral for distribution in the US, Europe and Latin America.

Youthful Essence – Design of domestic and foreign collateral and packaging as well as all upsell products. This line has over twenty products with domestic European and Australian distribution. Serving as principal brand packaging custodian.

Clear Zone – Designed packaging for a major launch for distribution at CVS Pharmacy Stores across the US and Canada.

Winsor Pilates – Designed packaging, collateral and trade show graphics for distribution in Canada, Europe, Australia and Latin America.

Principal Secret – Designed packaging and collateral for Europe.

Art Director, Network Omni Multilingual Communications, Los Angeles – 1999 to 2001

Hired to oversee all aspects of visual communications, foreign and domestic, for accounts such as Home Depot, Anthony Robbins, Menengitec, Universal Studios, Walt Disney and Guthy-Renker Inc. Developed corporate collateral and website for domestic presence as well as the opening and launch of their branch office in Zürich, Switzerland.

Worked on packaging projects over a seven year period receiving two International Brands Packaging Design Awards working on Mocha Mix's Signature Flavors Coffee Creamer and Knott's Berry Farms' Extra Berries Preserves. This team was the recipient of four Clio Awards.
  • In 2007, completed the Levinson Institute's, "On Leadership", a five-day training program. On Leadership is a Harvard University based methodology providing tools and education aimed at the identification and achievement of management goals.
  • Fully qualified as a Mechanical Illustrator.

Philanthropic Work

Served as Executive Producer/Chairman Board of Directors for Feast of Stars, a nonprofit 501(c)3 group of Hollywood music professionals dedicated to bring awareness to the end of death by starvation. Activities included the recruitment of musical talent and the creation of concert and music events, as well as the utilization of the press. These efforts required staging fund-raisers, writing complex concert proposals and executing complicated logistics associated with staged events. The group worked with J. Michael Dolan, Editor - Music Connection Magazine in the recruitment of musical artists and executive advisors to further the goals of the project. Later, Michael Dolan credited the group with the genesis of the "We Are The World" project.
